Dr. Bryson Bresnahan

Bryson Bresnahan, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist, PA Certified School Psychologist

Hello. My name is Bryson Bresnahan and I am a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist, having graduated from Duquesne University in 2006. I have been part of the AIBDT evaluative team since 2012 with a focus on individuals under 24 years of age. In that time I have come to enjoy the back and forth aspects of evaluations, discussing strengths and concerns alongside traditional assessments, in an effort to create more helpful recommendations. During the past decade or more it has been a joy to watch a growing acceptance for neurodivergence, and attempt to tailor evaluations to a more strength-based approach. Families sharing what works for them, and what has not worked has been priceless. I enjoy saying "you don't hire a psychologist to just test, you hire us to pay attention". I also enjoy working with the next generation of psychologists as interns and students, as well as continuing to learn via membership in the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania.
